Guy Wire

Guy-wire, guy-line, or guy-rope, also known as simply a guy, is a tensioned cable designed to add stability to a free-standing structure. They are used commonly in ship masts, radio masts, wind turbines, utility poles, fire service extension ladders used in church raises and tents. This is Used Galvanized Guy wire that has been decommissioned but still has plenty of life left. This galvanized guy wire design is excellent for tensioning/guying applications because it has very little stretch, while the finish also provides protection from the elements over time. Guy wire provides high break strengths, without resulting in an overly heavy wire. It also allows users to easily and safely add big grip dead ends to create a strong, secure termination point. Also known as guyed wire, guy cable, guy strand, guy anchors, or even mistakenly called ''guide wire.''
