repurposedREFFERRAL:  "Damon, Attended your presentation at Materials Handling Institute Executive Summit last week in Florida.  When we were talking at lunch, you expressed an interest in used stadium seating. In passing, I mentioned knowing of a company that built/refurbished outdoor stadiums.  My friend Bruce is in the stadium business and may have some good sources for such material. I copied him on this email, and his contact information is below.  Getting together is up to you guys." - Steve  RE: Steve, Thanks for the introduction to Bruce.  We'll follow-up with ASAP to see if they have old bleachers that could be "repurposed"!

Desiccant.  This desiccant is a 13x molecular sieve was supposed to be a part of a manufactured product that ended up getting canceled.  We have 42,000 lbs.  The bead size: .8-1.6MM.  L: Atlanta  Email for Details>>

Your Ideas:  "You need to sell your desiccant to one of the companies who make big absorbent bags they hang inside ocean containers to prevent 'container rain'.  Yes, the humidity inside these ocean containers condenses on the metal roofs and then eventually drips on the inventory.  It is a huge, costly problem in the international shipping business." Jack Lester in Seattle

interestPARTY:  "We normally use this UHMW material on our indoor race track as a barrier. It is bolted to used NASCAR tires.  This UHMW material is expensive but superior to the other track barriers. I will give this to my partners." Ed Bradford  RE:  Ed, We like your "repurposing" of old NASCAR tires, too.)

Rolls of 100% Polyester.  BEFORE: "Hello, We have about 10 pallets of new 100% polyester, non-woven fabric.  It was part of an window blind R&D project that we  did not proceed with.  But they had to purchase a container load at the time.  Each are 37.5" wide with about 500 yards on them.  It is Unitika brand, 35 grams/sq meter.  Are these something you would be interested in?" Dianne  AFTER:  Dianne accepted our offer.  We now have the fabric for sale.  L: Denver  Click for Pricing>>

Q: Like Dianne, do you have obsolete inventory that could be "repurposed"?  If yes, Call Damon at 303.321.1471 or Email Damon Details>>

repurposedHOPE:  "My 'repurposing', I do dye sublimation printing.  A key element in the process is the polyester based coatings, or, in the case of fabrics, simply being made of polyester.  When polyester fabric is imprinted the image is actually dyed INTO the cloth rather than being applied to the surface as is the case with screen printing, vinyl, etc.  I am hoping that the texture of the polyester material will be suitable for printing photographs." Gordon

Money Saving Tips:  "New skid-steer loaders typically come with tires that do not last more than 100 hours  Take the new factory tires off and replace them with new heavy-duty tires.  You can get 500 or more hours on a set of tires.  Then when you sell the skid loaders four to five years later, put the original new tires on the machine and sell it with new tires.  New tires help sell any used equipment." - Rich Frederico

Q:  Like Rich and the skidsteer tires, do have money saving tip that you'd be willing to share??  Email Damon>>

repurposedINBOX:  "We have come across between 1500 to 2000 metres of railway in some old outbuildings in Scotland and wondered if your company would be interested in buying some/all of them? It has been in these buildings for around 100 years." - Scott

Shipping Container Bridge.  "We needed a bridge on our vacation property.  My wife came up with the idea of a cargo container.  No underlayment or anything needed; simply a 50 ton crane to swing it into place.  Budget: $2500 delivered and only another $800 for the rear door installed & $600 for the crane. All in all a real bargain!" Bob Burchett in California.  RE: Bob, we love nothing more than a smart "poor man's" solution.  Brilliant!!
