re·pur·posed·MA·TE·RI·ALS (noun) - byproducts and waste that have value "as is" to a second, unrelated industry.  LEARN MORE ABOUT US>>

Auction...Foundation Plywood.  Three bunks of plastic coated plywood used originally for foundation foams.  L: Atlanta  Click for Auction>>

customerINQUIRY:  "Interested in the DOKA plywood.  We just need some inexpensive plywood to use in our pottery yard. We use most of the plywood to make levels and layers, when the pots are on pallets. Also they come in handy to cover the pallets when it is raining, so the jars and pots don't fill with water." - Rob

Rob, Here is what I learned on the Doka plywood from one of their sales reps.  Because of the plastic coating on the plywood this might work great for you "repurpose" application!
Auction...Boardwalk Wood.  Two bunks of boardwalk wood in our online auction that ends this Thursday.  L: Atlanta  Click for Auction>>

customerPROJECT:  One of our high-end home builders decided to turn a mandatory retention pond into a really cool landscape feature with some of our reclaimed, treated lumber.  Brad, we appreciate your business!
Company Q & A:  Q"How do you know how many feet of belting there are on these big rolls?" Jacob Asbury   A: We use the formula: (Inside Diameter + Outside Diameter) x # of wraps (middle of roll to outside) x .131 = footage on the roll.

Q:  Do you have question about our materials, business, or our mission/concept of "repurposing"?  Ask Damon>>

repurposedDEAL.  BEFORE"Our city is doing some renovation to the City Hall and we have removed from the roof a (as far as we know) working, but no longer used siren that was previously used for weather warnings.  Our city now cooperates with the county for emergency warnings and management, and this siren will never be used again. However, there may be a small town somewhere that uses a siren for a noon whistle or other warnings that could use this siren.  We'd rather see it re-used, or 'repurposed', rather than having to scrap metal it. Would you be interested in this? " - Steven  STATUS:  Steven accepted our offer, and we now have this siren for sale!

Q:  Like Steven, do you have surplus or idle equipment or inventory that you want out-of-the-warehouse and off-the-books?  If yes, Email Us Details>>

Warning Siren.  L: Chicago  Email for More Details>>
Steel Mezzanine.  Well, we've sold about 1/3 of the 40,000+ sq ft steel mezzanine.  We're now going to break up the mezzanine and sell the two individual components...I-Beams and Adjustable Posts.  L: Atlanta  Email for Dimensions & Pricing>>

repurposedPOSSIBILITY:  "Our plan is to build a portable/adjustable mezzanine to be able to walk from the mezzanine onto the deck of the boats being built. We are going to look at adapting your product." Martin  REWe love your choice of the word "adapting".  Being able to "adapt" materials and equipment to solve problems is one of the hallmarks of our customers!  Unfortunately, being able to "adapt" materials and equipment is not a common skill.  Those who can't "adapt" end up buying new and paying a whole lot more!!!
Italian Marble Tile.  We just got in 11,000 SF of surplus, never installed white Italian Carrara Bardiglio marble tile.  L: Den  Email for Details & Pricing>>

backSTORY:  This tile was purchased for the St Regis Hotel in Aspen.  The owner of the luxury hotel decided he didn't like it, so he ordered something else.

Wheel Washer.  We just did a deal for this large wheel washer.  This piece of equipment is designed to wash the mud off of trucks exiting dirt roads prior to driving on paved roads.  Mines, quarries, and excavation contractors are common users of this type of equipment.  L: Denver  Email for More Details>>
Gym Flooring.  We are selling the home basketball court of the Univ of Arizona Wildcats.  There are two cool things about this floor: 1) obviously, it is the floor of a well known team; 2) The floor has already been separated and de-nailed.  L: Dallas, Denver  Click Here for Pricing>>

repurposedCUSTOMER:  This is one of our buyers for the U of A floor.  They re-installed the floor in a retail store.  Bart, it looks great, and we appreciate your business!

Stainless Steel Tubing.  We got in 6,000' of 3/16" stainless tubing.  This is unused, surplus inventory.  L: Denver  Click Here for Pricing>>

BEFORE:  This tubing came from a laparoscopic surgery instrument manufacturer.  They changed the specs on their tubing, so this inventory became obsolete.  As you can imagine, this tubing is super high quality!

AFTER:  "I'm thinking of 'repurposing' your stainless tubing to replicate the garden feature in the attached picture." - Linda in
Ski Lift Cable.  We just got in 10,000' of used ski lift cable yesterday.  This is 1 1/2" steel cable.  L: Denver  Email for More Details>>

A.C.E (Attributes, Characteristics, Engineering) - Since lives literally hang in the balance on a ski lift, do you think they wait to change out their steel cables until they are really worn out and almost ready to break?  Of course not.  Ski resorts have very aggressive replacement schedules for their cables.  What does that mean for their used cable?  That means the cable is still in pretty darn good shape relative to retired cable from other industries!

NOTE: This ski resort could have sent this cable to a scrap metal recycler.  But, they knew "repurposing" the cable was a higher and better use option for the environment and their sustainability goals than simply sending this cable off to be melted.
Company Q & A  Q"How do you cut conveyor belting without breaking your arm, or is there a special saw blade or something?" Bill Phillips   A: Watch Ethan, our Denver manager, demonstrate in this video using just a sharp utility knife.  With the right technique, conveyor belt cuts like butter...well,!  Watch Video>>

Q:  Do you have question about our materials, business, or our mission/concept of "repurposing"?  Ask Damon>>

repurposedEUROPE!?!  "Damon, I am based in the UK and Ireland and I am interested in what you have to offer!  Ranges of materials and outlets for products,  I am thirty years in the waste /'repurposed' business here, and a Chemical Engineer, and looking at the more technical types of materials." Colm  REIf we found the right partner, employee, etc, we'd absolutely think about taking our "repurposing" mission/concept to Europe!

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for AttributesCharacteristicsEngineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
