How We Work.  BEFORE:  "We are in the process of closing down a 65-yr-old industrial net manufacturing business.  Some of the excess inventory that we have on hand include rope, bails of manufactured netting in various sizes, hand tied fall protection nets, partial panels for nets, various hardware ie; rings, hooks, shackles and other items used in the manufacturing process.  I would be happy to entertain any ideas that you would have regarding the final disposition of these items." -Irwin  STATUS:  Irwin accepted our offer, and we've moved 4 truckloads to our Dallas location.

Steel from Demolition.  A project manager with Mortenson Construction, one of the largest contractors in America, referred us to their demolition subcontractor who was demolishing part of a building where there were bar joists and decking being removed.  The PM thought it would be sad to see these perfectly re-usable structural members simply melted down by a metal recycler.  Sal, we appreciate your referral, and your recognition that re-use is always a better play for the environment than recycling.

Q #1:  Do you have materials you're sending to a recycler that would have a higher/better use if they were "repurposed"?  If yes, Email Details>>

Q #2:  Do you have a demolition project coming up where maximizing landfill diversion &/or minimizing cost is important?  We might could help!

The programme is government funded here in NI.  You seem to have taken it to another level with your 'repurposing' operation where you have made it into a commercial operation.  I would be delighted to have a chat with you.  Keep up the good work!!" Liam McNally, International Synergies (Northern Ireland) Ltd.

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for AttributesCharacteristicsEngineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
