re·pur·posed·MA·TE·RI·ALS (noun) - byproducts and waste that have value "as is" to a second, unrelated industry.  LEARN MORE ABOUT US>>

low/costOPERATOR.  We love to profile resourceful, low cost operators no matter the industry.  These savvy operators are always finding ways to get the same job accomplished at a fraction of the cost.

"repurpose" #1:  "We use old re-bar to replace wear strips on our excavator buckets. You can buy factory wear parts but very expensive...used re-bar is FREE.  Begins to add up when you have 16 or so buckets." - Mick, demolition contraction in Arizona

"repurpose" #2:  "Your old conveyor belt has worked superbly lining the bottoms of our articulated dump truck beds.  Using a cheap used material as a wear part on an expensive piece of equipment makes a lot of sense to me!  Oh, and the rubber is a great sound dampener, too!" - Bill Andrews, dirt contractor in Ohio  Conveyor Belting.  L: Den, Atl, Chi  Click Here for Pricing>>

Q: Like with Mick's rebar an Bill's belting, do have other "repurposes" ideas to extend the life of equipment?  Submit Ideas>>
repurposedTOUR.  The Georgia Recycling Coalition brought a group for a tour of our Atlanta facility as part of their quarterly meetings yesterday!  Gloria, thanks for bringing your group!  If you would like to bring your group to see firsthand what all this "repurposing" buzz is about, please contact us. (L: Atl, Chi, Dal, Den, Phi)
repurposedHEADQUARTERS:  Many of you, our valued customers, never physically come see us.  So, we thought you might be interested in a couple of pictures of our facility in Denver.  For whatever reason, a lot of first time visitors are surprised at how large our facilities are.  Well, it takes a lot of room to store and inventory 4,000,000+ pounds worth of materials that are being diverted from the landfill!  Our yards in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, and Philadelphia look similar!
Cabinet Face Frames.  We just took in a whole semi load of cabinet face frames.  L: Philadelphia

MAKE OFFERWe'd like to sell all these face frames to one buyer.  We're open to any offers!  Email Offer>>

Q: How could all these face frames be "repurposed"?  Submit Ideas>>
"Stretcher Frames:   Artist, painters, could stretch their canvas over these easily!  They might have to apply a slight bead on the edge so the canvas doesn't touch the middle braces, but that would be an easy fix." - John

"Probably too obvious, but would be excellent booth dividers in restaurants, with fabric or plexi etc. in the openings." - anonymous

"These could be the frames for decorative interior sliding barn doors. You could attach reclaimed weathered wood." - Richard Engelmann
