re·pur·posed·MA·TE·RI·ALS (noun) - byproducts and waste that have value "as is" to a second, unrelated industry.  LEARN MORE ABOUT US>>

Best "repurposes" of 2016
Conveyor Belting.  Sizes 4"-70" wide available.  L: Chi, Den, Atl, Phi, DFW  Click Here for Pricing>>

repurposedPROJECT:  We sold about 500' of 70" conveyor belting last week to a bridge construction company.  They are rolling it out on their barges to protect the decks when they run crawler cranes unto them.  Richard, we appreciate your ingenuity!
repurposedENTERTAINMENT...Who Knew!?!  BEFORE"We have two helicopter hulls that we are trying to dispose of.  We purchased the helicopters and removed all of the items useful to us, and now the bones remain." - Tom in Wisconsin

"Hi Damon,  I am interested in the helicopter shells.  I own a scuba diving quarry in Illinois -  Divers like to dive around different objects and venture inside them.  Right now I have stone crushing equipment, firetruck, Military dump truck, 33ft cabin cruiser, and many other little objects." - Tina
Turf Pad Underlayment.  These interlocking pieces of expanded polypropylene were used as turf underlayment on a football field.  The pieces are 1" x 48" x 48".  L: Denver  Click for Pricing>>  *A,C,E:  These pads are sturdy, water permeable, interlocking, etc.

repurposedCUSTOMER: We sold 22,000 Sq Ft of the used turf pad to a horse owner in Texas.  They are installing the padding as an underlayment under the dirt as an extra layer of cushion to protect both horse and rider.  Ralph, We appreciate your business!

repurposedSUCCESS...Tapioca Starch.  BEFORE: We took in 40,000 lbs of bio certified tapioca starch manufactured for the cosmetic industry.  AFTER: One of the distillers who bought the starch..."The ONLY thing in the bottle is the spirit we fermented from the tapioca starch we got from you guys. If we could get more of the starch at the same price we’d do another few runs  for sure. When it came off the still it tastes like a smooth vanilla vodka." - Mark Allen

: Like the cosmetic company, do you have any product, chemistry, ingredients, etc, that are out-of-date, off-spec, etc...that would be a candidate for "repurposing"?  If yes, Send Details>>

Temporary Tower.   This tower was made to erect quickly beside big utility towers that have been damaged.  They transfer the power lines on to this tower until they can get the main structure repaired.

*A,C,E (Attributes, Characteristics, Engineering) - This tower is aluminum to keep it light so it can be flown by helicopter into remote locations.  The hinged base allows it to be quickly tilted up on site.

repurposedSUGGESTION:  "You ought to market this to stunt rigging companies in Hollywood.  They always have needs for crazy things like your tower." - Melissa

Gym Bleacher Wood.  We now have southern Yellow Pine and Douglas Fir bleacher wood for sale!  (BTW, we don't charge extra for the gum stuck to the bleachers and girl's name carved into the bleachers!)  L: Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver  Click Here for Inventory and Pricing>>

repurposedPROJECT:  These are photos from a Florida design firm that "repurposed" Gym Bleacher wood to side the walls of an interior office.  The high-end design firm wouldn't settle for an ordinary office.  (We'll roll out more photos in coming editions.) But, then what would you expect from a design firm founded by Walt Disney Imagineering alumni whose biggest client guessed it...Disney.  Tom, we appreciate your business!  (Oh, and don't tell, but they stenciled on the seat numbers themselves to give this wood an extra cool touch!)

Gym Flooring.  L: Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta  Click Here for Court Pricing>>

repurposedPROJECT:  "Nathan, from South Dakota, just purchased 33 sheets of gym flooring. He is using it to build a custom squash court in his basement." - Patrick

INTERESTING FACT:  Many think that "repurposing" is for those of the lower income demographic.  To the contrary, as Nathan's home squash court attests, we have many very high net worth and business owners/executives as customers and supporters!  Hmmm...might there be a correlation between frugality and net worth!?!

Customer Appreciation.  Already this morning a NASA-funded group purchased 4,500 Sq Ft of Parking Lot Fabric that they're going to install to serve as landing pads for drones.  Michael, we appreciate your business!

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for AttributesCharacteristicsEngineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
