BEFORE:  Out in the western US, they erect these huge wooden fence structures to help stop the snow from drifting on the highways during blizzards.  As the wood ages in the sun and wind over the decades, it turns into beautiful weathered wood.  We get the old wood when they do maintenance on these fences.

SURPLUS...Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Tanks.  "We have 4 very large, unused FRP tanks that have been stuck in our yard for 8 years tied up in foreign bankruptcy.  These tanks ranging in size from 150,000-750,000 gallons are now available at a deep discount.  We just want them off our lot.  These are so large they can't be moved on the highways.  So, they'll have to go on some waterfront property with barge or ship access.  These four tanks cost $3,000,000 new." Sam  AVAILABLE:  If you're a mine, an oil & gas operator, or a petrochemical company and you have serious interest, Contact Us>>

repurposedREAL/ESTATE
propertyREPURPOSE:  One way entrepreneurs are "repurposing" old, abandoned salt mines is by turning them into document storage facilities.

*A.C.E. (Attributes, Characteristics, Engineering).  What is naturally present underground?  Stable temperature, stable humidity, security, etc.  These are the very same A.C.E. that developers spend $100's per SF to construct in new buildings above ground when, funny enough, they are already naturally present underground.

Q: Have you seen/heard of other ideas on how to "repurpose" old mining properties whether underground or above ground like rock quarries, sand pits, etc?
