Terrorism Prevention.  With crashing vehicles into large crowds of pedestrians becoming the new weapon of choice by terrorists groups, a European firm pioneered a quick deployment fencing system to prevent such vehicle attacks.  We had an American security company purchase Zipper Barriers last week to mimic this same design in America.  If he gets sufficient interest, he is going to be buying all the barriers.  Casey, we appreciate your business!

YouTube Video:  This fascinating video shows the zipper barriers in action on the highways.  This big machine just moves the barriers over one lane like a zipper.

repurposedCUSTOMER:  "I'm so excited to use this parachute fabric! I'm an installation artist in Sydney, Australia, and I'm making an inflatable out of the parachute. It will hopefully look like a cloud, and will be full of mist, so that the visibility will be very limited. The idea is responding to a geoengineering proposal to pump the sky full of a substance to reflect solar radiation and cool the planet (slowing global warming)." - Emily Parsons-Lord

repurposedREAL/ESTATE.  "Damon, I have a great real estate 'repurposing' project for you.  Our state park beaches in Ohio used to be extremely popular, filling 2,000 car lots to overflowing!  But with more swimming pools and water parks, we don’t get nearly the visitors now.  We closed about half of the parking lot, and later 'repurposed' a large portion of that asphalt surface as an air strip for model aircraft.  The project is very popular!" - Gus w/ Ohio Dept of Nat Resources

BEFORE: The US Forest Service called asking if we could help with 250,000' (yes, 50 miles) of decommissioned fire hose.  We said "yes"!

"Hi Guys, Thanks for stocking and selling me used fire hose.  I got a roll a few months ago to experiment 'repurposing' it as a sheath for a set of extra long grilling skewers we call the Cowboy Kabob.   It's the perfect material for a sheath.  Cowboy Kabobs are expedition sized grilling skewers for RVers, Hunters, etc. Anyway, the fire hose fits perfectly for our application. http://www.firegrilling.com/ - Hans Sommers
