repurposedINBOX"We have these storage containers that we ship rental equipment around the country to move shelving units in retail stores. Field test proved the box to be too large to navigate internally inside their stores due to width of aisles and placement of displays. So, we're making smaller ones. Would you have interest in the big boxes we are retiring?" Heidi

Bird Dog #1: "Damon,I saw this story and immediately thought of repurposedMATERIALS.  It is an extremely old lift bridge over the Chicago River that the city is replacing.  The only cost that the owner will bear is the cost of dismantling.  It is historic but the city sounds like it doesn’t want to tackle a restoration.  Not sure how it could be repurposed but it is certainly an interesting artifact." - Dan in Chicago  Read Article about Bridge>>

Bird Dog #2:"I thought of you when I read this article about this Chicago Bridge. – Just in case you are interested or know someone who may be interested.  Before they demolish it this Fall!" - Catherine Jones in Missouri  Read 2nd Article about Bridge>>

Online Auction...EVA Rubber Sheets.  -- Auction Ends Tonight --  L: Chicago  Click to Bid>>

"It is quite common to add ground tennis shoes to the material in an equine performance ring (like sand). It holds moisture and provides shock absorption. A professional horse facility should have an interest. It would need to be ground into small pieces before being added to the arena sand." - Greg Smith

"Years ago I looked high and low for a piece of this rubber to make a practice drum pad.  Mounted a 5 in x 5 in piece recessed in an inclined piece of wood, to practice drum rolls, etc.  Couldn't afford drums." - Greg Rubin
