Elevators.  "We purchased some old grain elevators in west Texas at a very good price because of the drought down in that region.  We converted them from handling grain to handling frack sand for the oil and gas industry down there!" - Mark Rogers  RE: Mark, we love it...taking an idle, obsolete, unproductive real estate asset and "repurposing" it to create a new revenue stream!

Q: Do you have a property that would be a good candidate for "repurposing"?

Demolition Help.  "Hi Damon, We have a project that will involve large amount of demolition and material removal. This project will also be a LEED Certified project (possibly Gold), and we are looking into ways that we may be able to obtain required credits. This specific project involves demolishing two high rise buildings.  If you could give me more insight into your business and how it might be beneficial for our project, that would be great." - Lynnsee  RE:

Equipment Parts...Fuel Tanks.  Sometimes it is not the equipment that gets "repurposed" but the parts and pieces off the equipment.  Ever wonder what happened to all the jettisoned aircraft fuel tanks during the Vietnam War?  Well, many have been "repurposed" into canoes for the jungles!

referralAPPRECIATION.  "Saw this on my local Craigslist, doubt he can sell that many bleacher chairs in central Nebraska.  His comment about not wanting them to go in the landfill made me think of you guys. http://grandisland.craigslist.org/mat/5535250870.htmlMitch  RE: Mitch, Thx.  We will contact the seller!

PLS:  Any time you see something for sale...eg: Craigslist, auction, eBay, etc...that you think would be a candidate for "repurposing", we'd appreciate you forwarding us the info!

How We Work:  BEFORE:  "We have a full rink set up of the tempered glass and between approximately 50-60 sections of dasher board..The quicker you can get them out the better deal we can make.  Let me know when you can get them and what you would be willing to offer?"  - Jeremy  Jeremy accepted our cash offer, and we had the equipment removed within days!  AFTER:  A couple of weeks ago, we sold the hockey dasher boards to a recreations facility in Canada.  We love those Canadians, eh!!!

Q:  Do you have equipment or machinery you'd like to deal on?

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for AttributesCharacteristicsEngineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
