MOVING SALE...Turf.  As you may have read, we're going to be moving to a new Chicagoland location later this summer.  We want to move as little as possible.  So, we're open to offers on some of our inventory!

Turf.  We have 100,000 SqFt of turf we don't want to move.  We're open to any offers on orders over 5,000 SqFt!  L: Chicago  Email for Turf Roll Sizes &/or to Make Offer>>

repurposedIDEAS:  "Sell your turf to people with show cattle.  They like to put this down as flooring in the barns so the animals coats don't get all dirty before the competitions." - Larry Reynolds in Texas

"Big square footage's of your turf would make soil erosion blankets on the cheap!" - Cindy Lewis

"They sell that material to put under pond liners so the liner doesn't get punctured.  Why not just roll out a bunch of this old turf.  That would make a great protective underlayment to protect the liner material." - Adam

"Any 'green', sustainability-minded company or commercial property owner ought to jump at your retired turf.  They would save a ton over mowing idle pieces of property and the water savings would be tremendous!" - Jean Williams in Nevada

repurposedPROJECT:  Last week we sold a 500'+ of used conveyor belting to the demolition company that is imploding the Hells Canyon Bridge in Arizona.  They are going to wrap the areas where they install the explosive charges with the conveyor belt to prevent shrapnel from projecting out when they denote the explosives.  Pretty ingenius!!  Patrick, we appreciate your business!

Barge Tanks.  These are five massive floating tanks (Concrete Barges are 65' x 77' x 12.5'; Steel Tanks are 61' dia x 33' tall; 840,000 gal capacity/barge).  These are designed to be floated into a body of water.  You then fill the barges with water and the barges sink and rest on the bottom for a semi-permanent tank installation.  L: Gulf Coast  Contact Us for Drawings and Pricing>>

Engineer #1:  "For such facilities that are located on navigable waterways, these big barge tanks might be the answer to adding capacity for supplementary treatment where there is no additional land available to build new tanks." - Robert

Engineer #2:  "There are many wastewater treatment plants (wwtp's) that are overwhelmed by influent during periods of rain or snow melt, often referred to as inflow and infiltration (I&I).  The quickest way to deal with that is to build an equalization basin (a pond to hold the incoming water), until such time as you can "bleed" it back into the treatment flow.  Your concrete barge tanks would eliminate the need to build the EQ basin where there is no land to do so and would be temporary storage!" - Scott A. Strahley

BODY:  Thank you for choosing to "repurpose" rather than purchasing new pipe!  I bet your shareholders are happy too, as "repurposing" probably saved big $$$ on this project!  Sincerely, repurposedMATERIALS

The Rest of the Story.  BEFORE:  A restaurant chain wanted to keep their giant, oversize menu out of the landfill at the conclusion of their event marketing campaign.  They asked if we could help!  Of course they asked us, what other company in America is dumb enough to try to keep a 7' x 11' interactive book out of the dump...LOL!!!  AFTER:  We are happy to report that Orr Family Farms in Oklahoma City are going to give the menu a 2nd Life.  They are going to re-skin the book with the anti-bullying character Mr Spookley and install it in their fall festival at OKC's largest corn maze and pumpkin patch venue.  Tom, we appreciate your business and your creativity!  AND:  To quote the late/great Paul Harvey..."And, now, you know the rest of the story!"

Q: Do you have idle props, equipment, machinery that you'd like to see given a 2nd Life?  If yes, Send Details>>

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for Attributes, Characteristics, Engineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
