re·pur·posed·MA·TE·RI·ALS (noun) - byproducts and waste that have value "as is" to a second, unrelated industry.  LEARN MORE ABOUT US>>

repurposingMAGIC:  The magic behind "repurposing" is that one waste stream is viewed completely differently by two unrelated industries.  Neither "repurpose" is better/worse, right/wrong.  They are both smart in their own way.  Click Here for Lengths and Pricing>>

repurpose #1:  "Take a look at RR rail furniture at www.railyardstudios.com." - Matt Joyce in Illinois

repurpose #2:  "Here is a picture of our fence posts we made out of RR rail." - Roger in
Maryland

Q: How could these unique insulated concrete panels be "repurposed"?  Submit Ideas>>

Oops...Highway Sign Box Truss.  We made a mistake!  The big box truss we have is actually aluminum NOT galvanized steel as we previously said it was.  There are 3 bolt together sections x 5 1/2' x 6 1/2' x 22' = 66' long.  L: Chicago  Email for details>>

Q:  *A,C,E - Obviously, aluminum makes this truss a lot lighter than a steel truss of the same size.  What would be a particular "repurpose" where a lighter weight box truss would be of particular value versus a heavier steel truss of the same size?  Submit Ideas>>

Surplus Insulation.  This is new, still-in-the-wrapper polyiso insulation.  We got in 3 truckloads.  L: Dallas  Email for Sizes and Details>>

repurposedPROJECT:  One of our customers got his local building inspector to approve this surplus insulation as an "accepted equal" for his home building project.  He saved huge over buying new!

Kaeser CSV-150 Vacuum Pump.  This is a big, rotary screw vacuum pump.  L: Philadelphia  Email for Details and Pricing>>

askDAMON "How did the whole deal with you buying a prison to try to 'repurpose' it come about?" - Allison Winters  RE:  Allison, Funny story actually.  A guy called wanting to know if we "repurposed" razor wire.  I asked why he had razor wire available.  He said he had an old prison that he was trying to clean up to make ready for sale.  One thing led to another, and we ended doing a deal with him.  So, minor phone calls here sometimes turn into major deals...lol.  - Damon

Q: Do you have a property that would be a good candidate for sale that could be "repurposed"?  We're buying.  Email Details>>

Higher/Better Use: These foam sheets came to us from a recycling company.  They thought there was a higher and better use for these sheets than simply grinding them up.  Absolutely!!  Recycling should be an option of last resort.

repurposedINQUIRY:  We had an inquiry yesterday from a guy interested in using the fabric to put in his round pen to keep the soft dirt from working into the ground.  Great idea!

Mineral Oil.  L: Denver  Click Here for Pricing>>

repurposedCUSTOMER:  "
We use a type of white oil in our manufacturing process.  I try and use a very clean type of oil to mist on our saw blades to keep the heat down and to prevent pitch from accumulating on the blades.  This type of oil I think would work well in this application.  Also this oil residue would end up in the sawdust that I do sell for horse bedding on occasion------nontoxic oil is perfect." Gary.  Gary, we appreciate your business!

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for AttributesCharacteristicsEngineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
