EQUIPMENT - RR Passenger Car --> Golf Cart Bridge "I see you sell flat rail car bridges.  How about this former passenger rail car bridge on the Lost Tracks golf course in Oregon.  I thought you guys would dig this!" - Larry Allen RE: Larry, you guessed right...we dig this bridge!

Q: Have you seen other old equipment "repurposed" in cool, unique ways like RR car turned bridge?

WINNER:  EnvirOnMentaDoubLe PlaY.   "In an effort to reduce herbicide use, we have placed conveyor belts at the bottom of the perimeter fence.  This helps to reduce climbing vegitation and allows a small buffer for the mowers so they do not have to 'hug' the fence.  Preventing plants from climbing the fence also serves a security function." - Lowell Wright w/ Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, WI

repurposedINBOX: "Damon – I manage a 360,000 sq ft building in Dallas, TX.  When we have things left behind when a tenant moves out, are you interested in reusing or 'repurposing' what we have?  I am looking for a way to avoid sending items to the trash that could be re-used.  Thought you may have a suggestion!" - Kari D. w/ CBRichardEllis  REKari, we appreciate your inquiry.  Yes, we can help you avoid the trash in many cases!

Q:  Do you have items, like Kari, heading for the trash that could possibly get a second life?  If so,

repurposedGAME/SHOW.  Damon was the morning speaker yesterday at a big Kansas conference.  One fun part of his routine is he brings contestants out of the audience to come on stage to play "Name That 'Repurpose'".  He often pits one major university against the rival state university.  Anyway, yesterday it was Kansas vs. Kansas State.  When he asked about "repurpose" ideas for 275 gal totes, The KU team suggested that..."You could make the 275 gal tote into basketball hoop that the K-State Wildcat team could actually hit!"  Ah, we love "repurpose" trash talk!

repurposedIDEA:  "Depending on alloy and wall thickness you might be able to get some to automotive brake line builders.  Classic Tube and Inline Tube are two companies that I can think of that build stainless brakelines for older vehicles." - Stephen
