repurposedNEWS.  "REMADE (Dept of Energy program) will leverage up to $70 million in federal funding, subject to appropriations, and will be matched by $70 million in private cost-share commitments from over 100 partners.  The REMADE Institute will focus on driving down the cost of technologies needed to reuse, recycle and remanufacture materials such as metals, fibers, polymers and electronic waste and aims to achieve a 50 percent improvement in overall energy efficiency by 2027."   Read Article>>

RE:  Funny!!!  We say, hey, you want "to focus on driving down the cost".  We suggest rather than spending $70M for a think tank, just go visit our repurposedMATERIALS customers around the country.  Our customers are all "low cost operators" relentlessly and resourcefully figuring out what do with used materials everyday.  They don't need government subsidies to figure this stuff out!!!!

"I wonder how and where the $70 million federal funds (subject to appropriation) for this new DOE Institute dedicated to reuse and recycling will be distributed?  See article below if you haven’t heard about this already." Brooke Nash in Massachusetts

"Damon, Check out the link to the new site focused on reusing materials." - Frank Kinder w/ Colorado Springs Utilities

* A.C.E.  This acronym stands for AttributesCharacteristicsEngineering.  We use this acronym to tell you a little about a used material and what qualities it has in hopes that someone can find a "repurpose" for it.  Asked another way...what did the material do in it's 1st life that might help identify a very different, 2nd life for it?
